Additional Information for European Union Users

Legal Basis for Processing

It is always possible to request the Owner to clarify the specific legal basis of each processing and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on law, provided for by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract.

Additional Information on Retention Period

Unless otherwise specified in this document, Personal Data is processed and stored for the time required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be retained for a longer period due to any legal obligations or based on User consent.

Therefore:

• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User will be retained until such performance is completed.
• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the Owner's legitimate interest will be retained until such interest is satisfied.
• When processing is based on User consent, the Owner may retain Personal Data for longer until such consent is withdrawn.

At the end of the retention period, Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the expiry of such term, the right of access, deletion, rectification and the right to data portability can no longer be exercised.

User Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Users can exercise certain rights with reference to Data processed by the Owner.

In particular, within the limits provided by law, the User has the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time. Users can withdraw consent to the processing of their Personal Data previously given.
• Object to processing of their Data. Users can object to the processing of their Data when it occurs on a legal basis other than consent.
• Access their Data. Users have the right to obtain information on Data processed by the Owner and receive a copy of the Data processed.
• Verify and request rectification. Users can verify the correctness of their Data and request its update or correction.
• Obtain processing limitation. Users can request the limitation of the processing of their Data.
• Obtain deletion or removal of their Personal Data. Users can request the deletion of their Data by the Owner.
• Receive their Data or have it transferred to another controller. Users have the right to receive their Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
• File a complaint. Users can file a complaint with the competent personal data protection supervisory authority or take legal action.

Users have the right to obtain information about the legal basis for Data transfer abroad including to any international organization governed by international law or established by two or more countries, such as the UN, as well as about the security measures adopted by the Owner to protect their Data.

Details on the Right to Object

When Personal Data is processed in the public interest, in the exercise of official authority vested in the Owner or to pursue a legitimate interest of the Owner, Users have the right to object to the processing for reasons related to their particular situation.

Users are reminded that, where their Data is processed for direct marketing purposes, they can object to the processing at any time, free of charge and without providing any reason. Where Users object to processing for direct marketing purposes, Personal Data is no longer processed for such purposes.

How to Exercise Rights

Any requests to exercise User rights can be directed to the Owner through the contact details provided in this document. The request is free and the Owner will respond as soon as possible, in any case within one month, providing the User with all information required by law.
